1. GENERAL
1.1 Any price we quote over the telephone or email is only an estimate and should be used as a guide and not a guarantee. Factors such as excessive build up of vehicle contaminants can increase the time that must be spent to provide an excellent finish, and therefore small increases in cost may be necessary. We shall inform you of any necessary changes for your approval before work commences.
1.2 The customer should inform us in advance if a particularly intense job is require on a vehicle in poor condition.
1.3 SK Auto Valeting requests that clients give 48 Hours notice for cancellation. If this is not adhered to the booking fee of 25% will become non-refundable
1.4 SK Auto Valeting superb workmanship, but our work can be subject to weather conditions. If we arrive at the agreed destination and the weather is poor then we will arrange another convenient time for the work to be completed. This will be at no extra cost to the customer.
1.5 All payments must be made on the day, upon completion of the service.
1.7 All Valeting services at any UK address are inclusive of cleaning products, travel, water, labour and insurance costs unless otherwise stated. If any additional detailing is requested we will charge for these materials used but will confirm with the Client before the work is undertaken.
1.8 SK Auto Valeting reserves the right to modify its pricing schedule or any quotation without prior notice.
2. THE VEHICLE
2.1 SK Auto Valeting will carry out a vehicle Inspection prior to commencement of work. This is not only to protect us but to protect you the customer as well. All Vehicles will be checked over for any dents/scratches before the valet takes place. We will not be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from ill fitting trim, loose or faulty parts Please make us aware of any problems before we start your valet or detail, along with any recent repairs carried out ie paintwork, smart repairs recent detailing like newly blacked trims.
2.2 Our determination of the vehicle size category or degree of time required to complete the work shall be final and binding.
2.3 If you have booked an interior valet service, please make sure your vehicle is in a reasonable condition by removing excess items from the interior and boot area. Either remove all your personal belongings, or put them in a bag away from rubbish that we will clear. Thankyou. N.B. Items that may resemble rubbish could be considered disposable and therefore, removed. We will not be held responsible in such a situation.
2.4 Customers should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of valet.
2.5 SK Auto Valeting will not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in a vehicle whilst it is being valeted.
2.6 Child seats must be removed & refitted by you the customer, we will not be able to refit seats for safety reasons under any circumstances.
2.7 Whilst every effort is made to ensure that valeting services are carried out to the highest possible standard, the Client is advised to check the vehicle (s) on completion of the valet. If there is any cause for dissatisfaction, the Client should point out the discrepancy to SK Auto Valeting, who will endeavour to correct it.
2.8 No responsibility can be accepted by SK Auto Valeting for omissions or discrepancies detected after our technician has left the Client premises. Should the valet be carried out with the 'Client not present' and the Client has cause for complaint, the Client is asked to contact SK Auto Valeting within 24 hours of valet. Should the Client fail to adhere to this time scale SK Auto Valeting may decline to rectify any omissions or discrepancies.
2.9 We operate as a mobile valeting business, safety will always be a priority with the tools, chemicals we work with on a daily basis. If we have a breakdown of equipment during the valet we will stop and complete what is possible, we will inform the Client and rebook the next convenient appointment for both parties once the equipment has been repaired or replaced.
3.00 When booking any of our valeting services please be aware on the day the valet we need to park very close to the vehicle we will be working on. In some cases this may be impossible due to safety of parking & working, the valeting technician will have the final say if the valet can go ahead.
3. Force Majeure
3.1 In the event of an act of God, war, invasion, act of foreign hostilities (whether war has been declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, the Company shall be relieved of liabilities incurred under any contract with the Client wherever and to the extent to which fulfilment of such obligations is prevented, frustrated or impeded as a consequence of any such event or of any statute, rules or regulations, orders or requisitions issued by any Government Department, Council or any other duly authorised authority or from strikes, lockouts, breakdown of plant or any other cause (whether or not of like nature) beyond the Company’s control.
3.2 By having your car valeted by SK Auto Valeting you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as laid out above.
